Todd Overpeck has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and public relations, as well as 10 years of experience in K-12 school safety and crisis management. Before joining ELS, Todd owned and operated his own marketing consulting agency, where he worked closely with small and medium sized business clients developing new business and coordinating support for client needs. Previously, Todd was director of marketing operations at The Dwyer Group (now known as Neighborly), a holding company for 15 home services franchising brands with more than 2,500 franchises worldwide. He started his career at Dwyer Group as public relations and marketing manager for the Glass Doctor brand.
Prior to his marketing experience, Todd was school safety specialist and public information officer for the Education Service Center Region 12 in Waco, Texas, a regional office of the Texas Education Agency. As a consultant and trainer for federal safe & drug-free school programs, Todd created a model for school crisis response and recovery used throughout the state of Texas. He led trained crisis assistance teams to more than 60 schools after hurricanes, tornadoes, murders, suicides, and car accidents. He also developed in-depth crisis management plans and conducted safety assessments for school districts throughout Central Texas.
Todd earned a MBA in Finance and Marketing from Texas A&M at Commerce, and a BA in Journalism and Political Science from Baylor University.
