Everyone in the workplace should have a general knowledge of basic safety regulations.
We realize OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour training for General Business is offered online and in person by many different sources - we do too! However, we also realize people may not have 3 or 5 days to give to attend training. We use these Safety Basics from our free weekly webinars as an extension of OSHA training, to develop our safety coaches and apply our safety culture philosophy.
With this Safety Basics course, you complete the course on your own pace, just an hour at a time. You will learn the essential principles of the OSHA regulations topics without getting too far into the details. This is a great way to decide whether or not you need to take the full OSHA 10-Hour or OSHA 30-Hour courses for General Industry. It’s also a great refresher if you’ve already had the full training. Many of these topic are from our free weekly webinars series, compiled in a convenient package for you to access any time.
Each course section contains:
- 1-hour video of webinar recording
- PDF slide handout file
- Learning objectives quiz
If you’re a Safety Action Team leader, you can register for this course and then share the information from the specific topics that apply the most to your particular team. For example, if you lead a Safety Action Team focused on Ergonomics, you can access that topic and play the presentation recording during a team meeting to help educate your team members about what to look for.
